Hands of Rescue C.I.C. is a community interest non-profit organisation dedicated to serving women and children in crisis. We provide comprehensive support through safe housing, skills training, and advocacy to help them rebuild their lives.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to extend our hands to far and nearby communities that are experiencing any issues and to give the necessary support that will strengthen, inspire and empower people to get back on their feet. Hands of Rescue was discovered from the story of the founder, who is a survivor of domestic abuse and decided to form the organisation specifically to support women in crisis, and men too.

At Hands of Rescue, our aims and values guide everything we do. We are committed to supporting individuals, families, and communities in ways that reflect our faith, compassion, and respect for diversity.

Our Aims

Holistic Support: To provide balanced and comprehensive support through effective planning as an organisation and as a team. As a faith-based organisation, we are committed to living out our beliefs while also embracing and respecting other cultures, ensuring diversity and inclusion are reflected in all that we do.

Stability and Wellbeing: To create a stable, secure, and welcoming environment that promotes social cohesion, diversity, and cultural awareness. While we share teachings from the Word of God, we respect individual freedom of choice and will never impose our beliefs. Instead, we strive to make God’s Word the guiding principle of our organisation.

Personal Growth and Empowerment: To help men and women develop spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and economically. We aim to build the necessary infrastructure to support those lacking skills, motivating and equipping them with tools that enable independence and self-reliance.

Training and Development: To provide high-quality training opportunities that foster self-development. Where additional support is needed, we will signpost individuals to trusted agencies and resources that can help them further.

Respect and Inclusion: To promote care, dignity, and respect for all people, regardless of colour, gender, culture, class, religion, or disability, both within our organisation and in the wider community.

Mutual Respect and Responsibility: To teach women and men how to respect one another, their property, and their community. We also emphasise the importance of taking responsibility for one’s actions, both as individuals and as community members.

Support and Encouragement: To provide individuals with the highest level of support and accurate information, encouraging them to pursue excellence and fulfil their potential.

Celebrating Success: To recognise and celebrate achievements, helping individuals reintegrate into society with confidence and purpose.

School Representation:

"Through SN Consultancy Services, we aim to address the issue of school bullying and provide dedicated support to families. We offer representation to schools on behalf of parents who face challenges within the education systemfor example, those struggling to secure the right support for children with dyslexia."

"We also provide advocacy support for mothers experiencing injustice within the system, whether due to economic inequality, inadequate support with family issues, or situations where children are taken into care. We are here to stand by them, offering a listening ear, practical guidance, and lobbying on their behalf. If you need support around a legal matter, we are here to help signpost you."
